Brooklin first produced the 1953 Studebaker Commander Starliner (BRK32) in September 1990. The standard edition is a pale green color but, due to paint variations, it has been seen in a creamy pale green and a grey color. In late December 1994 it was supplanted by the BRK32A. Weber's was actually a collection in itself, a product of a jewelry store established in 1917 by J. Weber, an immigrant from Germany. In 1984 Mitch's wife, Sonya, arranged a unique 50th birthday surprise. She knew that Mitch had been collecting...
BROOKLlN AND THE 1953 PONTIAC PICK-UP

BROOKLIN VIDEO I John Hammick and David Angel have created in 1992 a video tape cataloging BRK1 through BRK9 and featuring some rarely seen models. This video is extremely well done, right from the start, where nothing is said for the first few minutes, just a parade of Brooklin. This video begins at the beginning, with an interview of John Hall. It's a fascinating story of John's first models, actually...

The first standard 1953 Pontiac Van (BRK31) appeared in 1990, after a few special models had been released. It is painted orange, different shades exist, with a blue sun visor and interior and Gulf Oil decals. Approximately 30 models are known without sun visor. A baseplate error is noted with 300 of the Gulf Oil vans released with the "1 of 500" designation on the baseplates that were intended for...
