BROOKLIN AND THE 1955 CHEVROLET SUBURBAN CARRYALL

The standard 1955 Chevrolet Suburban Carryall (BRK134) was released in April 2007 and deleted in January 2010. It is finished in granite grey with dark brown interior, yellow license plate only on rear and blackwall tyres.

BROOKLIN COLLECTORS CLUB 2008

In 2008 B.C.C. made a big effort with the annual special celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Club. Two different models were made, the 1931 Marmon Sixteen Coupe (BRK116) and the 1955 Chevrolet 3100 Panel Van, based on the Chevrolet Suburban. Members who ordered the two models had a very pleasant surprise because they received an additional Marmon Sixteen as a gift from the Club. The Panel Van is finished in deep blue metallic with grey interior and silver wheels. On the sides a silver panel carries the Brooklin Collection logo and the doors have a decal with the Club logo and “1988-2008” above it, a silver “20” is positioned on the front fender. The total number produced was 110. A special version with a bull bar on the front grille and a spare wheel on the rear door was given to members of the B.C.C. who attended the General Meeting in September 2008. On this version the “20” is orange. The models produced were 60, each one numbered on the base and the box has a blue spot to identify them. The base is engraved with “BCC 2008 1 of 170” and each model has a certificate. Both versions exist in a darker shade.

BROOKLIN COLLECTORS CLUB 2010

A beautiful set was chosen by B.C.C. as the 2010 special, representing two Pan Am vehicles: a 1955 Chevrolet Suburban and a 1957 Ford Ranchero (BRK108) in Pan Am blue with the livery of Pan Am. The Chevrolet Suburban has a white roof with luggage rack and orange light and a ladder on the rear door. The orange license plate, only on rear, reads “SPECIAL BCC10”. The vehicle is identified with a black “21” on the roof. “BCC 2010 1 of 150” is cast in base and a certificate comes with the set. Only 150 were made.

ISRAELI MODEL CARS COLLECTORS CLUB

The second special made by Brooklin for the I.M.C.C.C. is an ambulance base on the 1955 Chevrolet Suburban Carryall. It is finished in white with a lot of details: on the roof there is a siren with a red light at front plus another red light on the back and two small red lights on the sides, two mirrors, an aerial plus separate wipers and door handles complete the chrome details. The inside has interesting other details: a stretcher, an oxygen tank and a seat for the doctor. The Israeli star is applied on the roof and on the sides and the script identifies the ambulance as a “Magen David Adom”, which is the Israeli Red Cross. The orange license plate reads “52-755” and “I.S.R.2” is engraved on the base. Only 100 pieces were made in December 2013, each one individually numbered on a silver plate attached to the baseplate. The box label identifies the model as BRK ISR 02.
