Perhaps the most beautiful and desirable of the David Brown Aston Martins the DB5 was built between July 1963 and September 1965, it was a development of Touring’s DB4 design introduced in 1958, 1021 were built, 123 of which were convertibles. The car had a 3995cc 6 cylinder engine producing 314 b.h.p., in Vantage form, which gave a top speed of 145m.p.h. and took the car from 0-60 m.p.h. in 7 seconds.
