Developed from the Giulia TZ, the Giulia TZ2 is a tubular framed sports car with bodywork by Ercole Spada for Zagato. The TZ2 was unveiled at the 1964 Turin Motor Show and achieved competition success during the following two years until a regulation change forced the TZ2 into the “Prototype” category due to the fact that only 12 cars were built.
With the combination of superb aerodynamics, a light weight 620kg body and 170HP the TZ2 is capable of an impressive 250 km/h top speed.
This 1:43 scale model is hand built from parts that are all cast in white metal. The body is carefully prepared and hand spray painted then assembled with the small nickle plated trim parts before being fixed to the interior and base plate.
