Packard cars were held in high esteem in Europe. Many Royal Houses and governments favored Packard as their prestige and parade vehicles. This 1947 Limousine was acquired new by the Vatican State to join the Garage Nobile fleet of high rank automobiles. It was registered there with license plates SCV 23 and appointed to transportation of dignitaries and escort to the Pope. In this role it frequently carried foreign Diplomats who were visiting the Vatican State. After many years of impeccable service, the limousine was finally retired in the mid-seventies.

Brooklin Models created these models using reference from the original Vatican Limousines that have been lovingly restored to running condition. These 1:43 scale models are exclusively produced in white metal, hand spray painted and hand assembled.

These individually numbered models have been created for the VATICAN MUSEUMS and are packaged in special MUSEI VATICANI boxes.
