1934 Ford 5 Window Coupe ‘Hopped up’ Version - Maroon Satin

A limited individually numbered edition of only 25 in a gloss black finish, and 25 in a Satin Maroon finish.

This is our version of a traditional 1950s style high school hot rod as it may have been done back in the day…

Since cars were first invented people have ‘hot rodded’ ‘souped up’ ‘customised’…call it what you will…their cars. Some making minor changes, others major, putting different engines in, adding performance parts to make them go faster, Lowering the bodies, chopping roofs, the list is endless but all to achieve a different look or to give more performance.

In our model Some subtle changes have been made, including removal of the rearmount, spotlights, horns and bumpers…if you look closely you can see the steering wheel is from a 1948 Ford…as are the wheels…(and possibly the engine if you were to be able to look under the hood!) This is what someone may have done in the early 50s to a 1934 Ford if they found a later model ‘ donor’ car, being able to use some of the parts to ‘hop ‘ it up…a bigger V8 engine perhaps, the more modern wheels and steering wheel…they would probably also have lowered the suspension and dropped the front axle to give the slight ‘hot rod rake’ as we have done here.
