BROOKLIN AND THE 1946 MERCURY SPORTSMAN WOODY CONVERTIBLE

The standard 1946 Mercury Sportsman Woody Convertible (BRK69) was released in March 1998 and deleted in January 2010. It is finished in maroon with red interior, “woody” panels on the sides and back, yellow license plate and whitewall tyres.
MODELEX
The Brooklin special for Modelex 1998 was the 1946 Mercury Sportsman Woody Convertible, finished in a light green with woodgrain sides, with dark green tonneau cover and light beige interior. The site of the show is found on the hood in gold lettering. Whitewall tyres are mounted on fully-covered wheels. The model is accompanied by a Show Hostess figure, holding a Modelex 98 banner, done by Omen. 250 show specials were made.
