PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Superior Body Company was formed in 1925 and established itself in new premises in Lima, Ohio having changed its name from the Garfield Truck Company. From inception to 1938 the company built ambulances and hearses for Studebaker before changing allegiance to General Motors in 1938. This Pontiac would have been an early departure for Superior, pre-dating the GM merger.
