BROOKLIN COLLECTORS CLUB

A beautiful set was chosen by B.C.C. as the 2010 special, representing two Pan Am vehicles: a 1955 Chevrolet Suburban (BRK134) and a 1957 Ford Ranchero in Pan Am blue with the livery of Pan Am. The Ford Ranchero has a white roof with an orange light and a tool box plus batteries on the bed. The orange license plate reads “SPECIAL BCC10”. The vehicle is identified with a black “22” on the roof. “BCC 2010 1 of 150” is cast in base and a certificate comes with the set. Only 150 were made.

SAN FRANCISCO BAY BROOKLIN CLUB

To mark the 17th anniversary of the S.F.B.B.C. Brooklin Models produced a special edition of the 1957 Ford Ranchero to honour the world renowned wineries of the Napa, Mendocino, Sonoma valleys of California. It is finished in pale grey with dark grey interior with baskets of green grapes in the bed. A standing signboard between the baskets brings the name of the V. Sattui Winery, originally established in San Francisco in 1885 by Vittorio Sattui, then re-established in St. Helena, Napa Valley, in 1975 by Daryl Sattui, his great grandson. Winning the most Gold Medals at the 2004 California State Fair and having two of their wines judged the best in the state, the V. Sattui Winery was named “California Winery of the Year”. A certificate is glued on the box illustrating this fact. The doors have a decal with the logo of the vinery. The license plate reads “CALIFORNIA SFBBC 2005” and the baseplate is engraved with “1 of 150” as only 150 were made.
