BROOKLIN AND THE 1955 DODGE CORONET SEDAN
Posted by BROOKLIN MODELS
The standard 1955 Dodge Coronet Sedan (BRK97) was released in March 2003 and deleted in January 2009. It is finished in Parisian blue with pale blue interior, white license plate and whitewall tyres. This model was the first standard to use the new designed single box in blue/grey with plain white inner box. The last batch was produced with chrome around the front grilles as in the BRK97A.
In February 2009 a new version of the 1955 Dodge Coronet Sedan was released as BRK97A in two tone color. It is finished in emerald green with satin green roof, grey interior and yellow license plate. Subsequent batches have a slightly different color, emerald green metallic, and they are identified as a new edition. The third edition has the color of the hood and roof in a darker shade of satin green. This version was deleted in July 2012.
The fourth edition, released in July 2012 and identified as BRK97B, is finished in fantasy yellow with sapphire white roof, grey interior and green license plate. It was deleted in December 2016. All have whitewall tyres.
JOHN ROBERTS CONVERSION
This is a Dodge La Femme version. The body has been modified to a two door configuration, all existing slots for Coronet trim filled and new La Famme trim made and fitted. Badgework has been altered and all chrome detailed. The interior has been refinished in the correct colours with pink and white patterned seat bolsters matched to the real car.
