BROOKLIN AND THE 1949 CHECKER LIMOUSINE

The standard 1949 Checker Limousine (BRK89) was released in October 2001 and deleted in January 2004. It is finished in black with grey interior, black license plate only on rear and whitewall tyres.

 

Following the standard 1949 Checker Limousine two taxi versions were made. The first one represents a New York Taxi Cab. It was released in October 2001 and deleted in January 2007. It is finished in yellow with brown interior, blue license plate only on rear and blackwall tyres. The second one represents a National Transportation Co. Cab. It was released in October 2002 and deleted in January 2010. It is finished in cream with dark green roof, dark beige interior, orange license plate only on rear and blackwall tyres. Both models have a white Taxi sign on the roof and fares are exposed on the front doors. A luggage rack is mounted on the back bumper.

 

JOHN ROBERTS CONVERSION

Two Checker cabs were used to make this extended wheelbase airport car, considerably longer than the standard cab. Colours are dark metallic green over palm green.
