The Super Station Wagon was a glorious failure. Designed by Richard Arbib this enormous vehicle was based on the Henney ambulance and was equipped with every luxury. Packard didn’t like it at all and the proposed price of $10,000 ensured there were no takers. The one prototype was the victim of an arson attack in 1963.
